NEW OFFICE HEADQUARTERS (IN PROGRESS)

As our company continues to grow, Jason Chiu Architect Inc. is in the works for designing and building their new office headquarters. The plan is to demolish an existing single storey dwelling to give room for a new 2 storey office building (6520 ft2), where we would occupy 1 of the 4 units built. Parking would be located in the back of the property, while the building located in the front, creating a pedestrian-centered design in accordance to the Queen Street Heritage Design guidelines. We intentionally designed the building façade to express a similar architectural language with the surrounding neighborhood, but with a more modern twist.

WTCCC CHURCH INTERIOR RENOVATION

This interior alteration project consisted of converting a single storey (10322.75 ft2) existing warehouse into a church. The space includes a 2430 ft2 sanctuary that occupies 272 people, a large sociable lobby area, a multipurpose room, class rooms, a nursery and an administrative area for the staff. The goal of the design was to provide large flexible spaces to maximize function, while keeping a very minimalist and clean atmosphere through the materials and layout.

TUTTO FOODS GOURMET CHEESE FACTORY RENOVATION

This interior alteration project consisted of converting a single storey (14607 ft2) existing warehouse into a gourmet cheese factory. In addition to the 7857.65 ft2 production area which houses large machinery for the production of cheese, cold rooms and storage space, there is a designated administrative area with washrooms, change rooms, a kitchen and offices.

PRODUCT SHOWCASE ROOM RENOVATION

This is an interior alteration of an existing office into a show room for a company’s projects and products. We carried over some of their branding in terms of their logo in the lighting fixture. We show a monochromatic theme in the materiality so that their products stand out. Wood is also implemented in the room to create a warmer atmosphere.

ARGENTIA OFFICE INTERIOR RENOVATION

This is an interior alteration of an existing building for a new engineering firm’s HQ. The 14,620sf single storey building underwent a complete renovation as an open office concept was preferred. A large central space provided the area for workstations and executive offices near each teams’ proximity for collaboration. A large boardroom and cafeteria provided enough space for all office events or meetings.

PHYSIOTHERAPY OFFICE INTERIOR RENOVATION

This renovation project was for a client who runs a physiotherapy clinic. The requirements called for a renovation of 1,300 sf space to provide for a lobby / waiting area, office, gym, 4 exam rooms, washroom and break room. Due to the narrow width of the tenant space, we maximized the height to create volume and selected unique fixtures to add character and color to the space. Accent colors and recessed bulkheads provided interesting changes within the exam rooms for the eye.
