Jason Chiu

With over 20 years of architectural experience in a variety of project types and scale, Jason has developed extensive experience in leadership roles that include project designer, project manager, job captain and senior project architect. He aims to be a well rounded team oriented leader with a wide‐range of project experience ranging from programming to construction administration in institutional, commercial and residential market sectors. As an architect, Jason has managed projects in the U.S., Canada and the Middle East. His experience in the scale of projects has ranged from entire university campuses to a single conference room retrofit.

Matthew Wong

BArchSc. | Building Science Major

After graduating from Ryerson University’s Bachelors of Architectural Science program and specializing in building science, Matthew has taken the next step in his career at Jason Chiu Architect Inc. As one of the key architectural designers in the firm, he contributes to the start and completion of all projects, whether that be writing feasibility study reports, designing schematic layouts for clients, or permitting OBC compliant drawings with the city. In addition to his designing role, Matthew is responsible for the construction administration that is required for managing each project. This entails actively responding to emails, participating in client meetings and coordinating weekly construction site visits with engineers and contractors. His passion for architecture and drive to continually expand his skills/knowledge in the field allows him to support Jason in all aspects.

Jade Fung

B.BA | Hotel and Restaurant Administration

After graduating from Washington State University in USA, majoring in Hotel & Restaurant, Jade has worked at her family’s restaurants for a couple years.  After that, her role has concentrated mainly on Accounting and related areas in various business sectors. At Jason Chiu Architect Inc., Jade is responsible for the full annual cycle of Accounting and Financial Reporting.

Tao Ma

B.BA. | Business Administration

As one of the newest members to join Jason Chiu Architect Inc, Tao Ma graduated from University of Windsor with an Honors Bachelor Degree of Business Administration. He provides administrative support to the team by keeping constant work logs and maintaining project files up-to-date. In addition to his administrative role, Tao is also responsible with communicating with third party contractors and ensuring the progress of project statuses, responding to service calls for field inspections and assessments, and writing reports to provide feedback to clients.
